Our Mission
Our Mission is a simply one, to meet new people, to make new friends, to exchange ideas and life experiences and
enjoy out time together online.
If you don't get along well with others this really isn't the place for you.
Channel Rules:
General Guidelines for channel Rules. Use common sense and good judgment on these.
- Bad
Channels. My personal feeling on this is that everyone has a right to be in any channel they want as long as it's not imposing
on OUR channel. In other words if someone is in #dogsex and doesn't bring any part of that type of conversation to OUR channel
I don't really care if he's in there.
- Not Acceptable Channels, and TOPICS! - Topics we should refrain from chatting
about in OUR channel. I'm combining these because generally if you are in a channel with one of these topics as a subject
and it's illegal chances are you can't discuss them in channel anyway.
- Animal Sex,
- Rape,
- Underage
Sex,
No Nazi stuff here, if it comes up and your discussing the psychology behind that type of scene etc it's acceptable
to chat about. Not acceptable would be displaying a fantasy in the channel about one of these subjects.
-No one under
the age of 18 allowed in channel. We sometimes discuss adult topics (duh) in channel and other things that minors shouldn't
be listening/reading about at least from a legal stand point.
-No Fighting. Take the bullshit to private, no one in
channel wants to listen to someone else get beat-up or having a fight. It's common cutesy to not air your dirty laundry in
front of everyone, especially if they are here to have fun.
- No degrading other users. That includes OPS All of us!
Just cause JoeBlow has a weird ass fetish doesn't mean we have to berate him for it. After all everyone has a different idea
of what is important to them and why. We have to respect that.
- Don't make fun of someone because they don't know
what a ts/tv/cd/Is etc is. This is your chance to education another person. When you speak to that person it leaves a lasting
impression on them for the rest of their lives! So what you tell that person will give them a feeling of how Transgendered
people are as a whole! I would want people that don't know me to think of me as a nice person and if they think that one TG
is nice they will think the same about all of us at least until proven otherwise.
-Newbies We were all new at one
point, either to Tg stuff or to IRC stuff. Please try to help out when you can. If the person needs help with irc/mirc etc
and you don't have time or don't feel up to teaching them, please refer them to channel #newbie.
- Use Common Ettiquete:
Asking in channel to private message someone is much more polite than just msging them and saying you are sorry to msg them
without asking as an opening line. First of all some of the ops/users are not always active. so msging them will do you no
good in the first place, and if you would like to ask a channel question, ask a channel op in OPEN chat!
Any of
the ops that are awake will help you. Second, If you are asking a specific person to private chat and that person doesn't
want to chat with you they will decline, but at least you are giving them the choice.
Etiquette- USING ALL CAPS IS
LIKE YELLING AT SOMEONE!!!!. Along with excessive !!! ??? etc.
- No Repeat MSGS. Please keep your repeat messages
to once every 10- 15 mins. There's no point in telling people about you 10 times when no one has come into channel or talked
since your last msg! Repeating it isn't going to make us pay more attention to what you have to say, it will however get you
tons of negative attention.
Etiquette - Repeat messages are usually ignored! And are kickable.
